La Candelilla

La Candelilla is a cooperatively owned micromill in Tarrazu. This lot comes from one of the seven shareholders and founders, Ricardo Hernandez Naranjo who was one of the pioneers of the micromill movement in Costa Rica. Don Ricardo has been growing coffee for 32 years as well as consulting for coffee farmers all over the world to help improve their processing methods and overall coffee quality. This is the lightest level of honey process that can be obtained with their processes and closely resembles a classic washed process coffee.
